Wedding FAQs
What does my engagement session include?
Engagement sessions are included free of charge with every wedding booking. Engagement sessions are a one hour outdoor session in Red Deer for you and your fiancé. You will receive 25 edited, high resolution digital images that you can print and share with your family and friends.
How long after my wedding can I expect my photos?
I often post a sneak peek on my social media or text you sneak peeks within a few days of your wedding. An eight week turnaround can be expected to receive your online gallery link. You can download all of your photos from your online gallery.
When is payment due and what do you accept as payment?
A $500 non refundable retainer is due at the time of contract signing to hold your wedding date. The remaining balance is due in full no less than 7 days prior to your wedding day. I currently accept cash, cheques or email money transfers.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of photos varies depending on the package you choose and the nature of your day (how much time we have for formal portraits, the photo locations and travel time etc. Generally speaking, you would get approximately 25-35 photos per hour of photo coverage.
Can I print my own photos?
Absolutely. All wedding packages include your high resolution digital photos so that you are able to print your photos yourself.
Will you print my photos for me or make me an album?
Unfortunately, I don’t currently offer this service.
Will you travel out of town?
I love destination weddings and will definitely consider traveling out of town for an extra fee if it works with my schedule. Contact me with travel details and I will get you a quote.
How do I book my wedding?
Contact me at info@richellehansenphotography to inquire about wedding availability and to book a wedding consult. If you wish to book me for your big day, a signed contract and a $500 non-refundable retainer fee are required to reserve your wedding date.
